The Constitution of the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America

As per here, the version of the constitution of the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America that is in effect is the one approved by the Holy Synod at the meeting of October 13-15, 2004. Since that text, in English and Arabic, is a little bit hard to find online, it can be downloaded in pdf here.

Thank you for this. So, what is the current operating definition of a Diocesan Bishop? The question was widely addressed a few years back, if I remember correctly. Tnx for any insight.

Seems to be two settings of the same text in this document. Please explain.

Off2--

I'm not entirely clear on that, to be honest.

That's how the pdf that was given to me was made, not sure why. The text is the same just formatted in two ways.

Many thanks for posting this. I note that this version of the Constitution seems to be lacking the final three Articles, when compared to the version published on the Archdiocese's website. Do you know if that is intentional or if this is an incomplete copy?

d keim,

That was a problem with the copy. A kind reader has provided me with a more complete (and better-formatted!) pdf of the Damascus constitution.

Please dont make any speculations! Go directly to the archdiocese site and follow what's there. Thanks
